The following pages contain actual photographs of my feet as the effects of diabetes as it progressed in various stages. The first images are that of necrotic decomposition and ulceration, progressing to amputation and amputation with complication of infection. The final images are of lower leg amputations, which had been done on Sept. 23, 2005 and on Nov. 11, 2007. These images are being posted here to illustrate the devastating results of Diabetes and to make sufferers of diabetes aware of the consequences of what can result if care is not taken to control diabetes. My intention is not to shock or disgust, but to demonstrate through my experience, so others can avoid going through this themselves.

Updated images will be added to show the outcome of the surgery, prosthetic legs etc., check back often.
